Have you been curious about giving your dog a few extra feet of leash, but don’t understand how you’re supposed to manage all that?  Or maybe you’re already using a longer leash, but feel like you aren’t doing it “right”?

Long lines are fantastic tools that allow our dogs to have a bit more freedom and ability to express natural behaviors.  But of course there are risks!  Let us help you feel a lot safer and more confident with some tips, tricks, and mechanical skill practice.

This is a 2-hour workshop held in-person at the East Bay SPCA adoption center in Oakland, California.  We will be sharing a presentation, as well as demonstrating and facilitating hands-on learning with provided leashes.

This workshop will be held indoors.  In order to protect all participants, we encourage you to wear a mask.  We will provide a limited supply at the door.

Who:  This workshop is led by Ali Sutch KPA-CTP CCUI, and Cory Abshear CTBC CCUI

Where:  8323 Baldwin St, Oakland, CA 94621

When:  Saturday May 18th, from 11am to 1pm

Please note this is a human-only workshop.  We love your dogs but please leave them at home.

Are you a staff or volunteer with the East Bay SPCA?  Check with your supervisor or volunteer coordinator to find out about free admission.

You will receive an email from us as we approach May 18th with more details on what to prepare, where to park, etc.
